How much does Treatment Cost?
A full case-taking and workup for a chronic condition is currently $250-350. Each additional 5 minutes after the first 30 are scheduled at $30 per 5 minutes. This is a one time fee which includes the 30 minute phone consultation, plus any time developing the best course of treatment for your companion including the selection of a homeopathic remedy or remedies. Your companion's course of treatment is individualized according to his/her particular needs and symptoms. This is very different from conventional medicine where there might be one course of treatment for people with the same type of cancer.
Acute consultations for new patients are $125. and scheduled for a 15 minute appointment. Appointments for horses are the same.
Follow up consultations are also billed at $30 per 5 minutes and generally last 5-15 minutes. You will be scheduled for 15 minutes and charged for the time spent talking with me on the telephone. More time can be requested when you make the appointment.
Homeopathic remedies range from $12 to $25 dollars each. You may receive one single dose of a remedy for $12 or a liquid, bottled remedy for repeat dosing at $25 (1/4oz bottle). with a prescribed protocol schedule depending on the situation. The homeopathic remedy protocol for cancer cases generally costs about $105 and can last for one to two months.

What's the Difference between a Chronic and an Acute Condition?
Acute conditions are those where the symptoms are self-limiting or short-lived, such as when you have the flu, a back injury, or have experienced some other physical trauma. In companion animals, an acute condition might include upper respiratory infections in cats or kennel cough in dogs; physical injury, diarrhea, or cystitis.
Chronic conditions are those that do not resolve in a short period of time and are of a deeper, more serious nature such as diabetes, epilepsy, thyroid problems, chronic kidney disease, allergies, chronic skin problems, and cancer.
How can I know if Homeopathy is the best treatment for my companion?
Many people appreciate the five-minute FREE pre-consult, during which I will briefly hear your animal's case and inform you of my experience with that particular problem as a homeopath. I can then advise you about expected results, course of treatment, etc. I can also help you explore options in such difficult situations as choosing other cancer therapies, deciding on chemotherapy, and combinations of effective therapies. During this consult, I will let you know whether I think homeopathy can help and to what degree. You can then decide whether you would like to schedule a full appointment or seek another alternative.
What if I have an emergency?
A true emergency is often a life-threatening situation. The answering machine is checked periodically during nights and weekends. In case of an emergency, I will make an effort to return your calls, but a serious or potentially life-threatening situation should be handled by a local veterinarian in your area. Please call the office in any case and leave a message so I will be aware of the situation. I will want to talk with you as soon as possible.
